What is sustainability in relation to the textile industry
Sustainable concept has basic three pillar & these are economic, environmental, and social. These three pillars are informally referred to as people, planet, and profits.
Sustainable practices in textile industry include using less amounts of water, hazardous chemicals, pesticides, and fertilizers to adopt eco-friendly production processes, using less energy for production processes and introducing Recycle material in fabric/end product.
We are well aware about textile processing & it’s risky for human health. To ensure the products more risk free & to support global environment, all brands are moving toward to sustainable products. It’s not about to reduce the negative impacts of the environment but also to support millions of workers to earn fair wages and ensure proper working environment
